I just wanted to say how proud I am in having over 5700 people place their faith and trust in me. It is an absolute honour to serve this amazing community and I am looking forward to continue working with my Council colleagues for another term. We have some serious work to do and we are totally prepared to tackle the challenges that will face us. My congratulations also to John Gilmour, Kevin MacAuley, Holly Back, Howard Dahl and Austin Park and Wendy Quereshi for stepping forward to make it such an interesting race!

Alan Nixon was re-elected in 2008 to a third consecutive term as Councillor. During his nine years on Council he has served on numerous boards and committees.
